Pacifica NZL hop pellets 100 grams

Pacifica has the classic Hallertau aroma character of citrus and floral scents, which makes this hop very striking. The aroma is supported by a generous oil profile so that this stylish hop can be selected for different beer styles and types. A triploid aroma hop developed from the HortResearch New Zealand Hop Breeding program. This variant is cultivated by free pollination of the highly valued Hallertauer Mittlefrüh species. Pacifica was launched on the market in 1994 after successful brewing tests. Hops from New Zealand are popular with the brewer, because New Zealand has no hop diseases.
The citrus aromas of citrus that result from the late addition of this hops are best described as those of orange marmalade. Due to the bitter properties of Pacifica, an early addition of hops provides a soft but solid finish, also in heavily bitter beers.
